Where Best to Stay in Yorkshire

This year, more and more people are choosing to stay within the UK for their annual holidays. Although this is definitely as a consequence of the austerity measures and downturn in the economy, there is absolutely no way why this fact cannot be turned into a real positive.

The simple fact of the matter is that this country has so much to offer: after all, why do tens of millions of people head to our shores each and every year? Because The United Kingdom is tremendously diverse and offers anything even the most discerning of tourist may be looking for.

One part of the country that fits perfectly into the statement above is Yorkshire. From the two natural parks that offer uninterrupted rolling hills (dales) and scenic natural beauty, to the spa towns and cosmopolitan cities that do not get enough recognition, in my opinion, there are ample great places to Stay in Yorkshire.

The best places may well turn out to be Harrogate, Leeds, York and many of the other quintessentially English towns and villages that can be found scattered across the entire county.

For a more rural retreat, why not consider hiring your very own country cottage for the duration of your stay - there really is no better way to get down to the true experience of a Yorkshire getaway.
